As a musician and teacher, Stephen Riches is an award-wining author who has led band, choir, and orchestra programs at elementary and secondary schools. He was the youngest recipient of the Dr. Heinz Unger Conducting Competition in 1977, and the Founding Music Director and Conductor for the Festival Players Philharmonic Society.
